Lynn Miller (L) with Sue Nuncio at Poster Center #SGNA15

I’d like to thank WSGNA for selecting me as a recipient for the SGNA 2015 Annual Course in Baltimore. The course was excellent on many levels. The “Stepping Forward-Connecting with Our GI Community” theme was apparent in the many excellent sessions offered. The latest information on CRE and scope reprocessing was provided direct from the experts who “were at the table” in Washington D.C., lending their expertise to work with the FDA to resolve current issues. Thank you Dr. Muscarella. Who knew it was the “O” rings??!! Where have we heard of O ring failure causing unexpected consequences before?
The Convention Center is conveniently located near the Inner Harbor offering great opportunities to explore historical ships, enjoy some of the best seafood available, visit great neighborhoods, and learn about marine life at the outstanding aquarium. It was easy to navigate to the various sessions and visit the vendors in the convention center. The session with Dr. Demester is just one example of being able to learn from a world renowned expert and share the knowledge with colleagues upon returning home.
Another learning venue at the Poster Center afforded useful information applicable to most GI practice settings and shows the connections within all of our GI Communities. The vendor programs are another example of timely and pertinent information necessary to care for our patients safely. Seeing other GI professionals from throughout the world and being able to network with them was especially remarkable and a reason the SGNA annual course is hard to beat year after year. Set your sites for Seattle in 2016 as SGNA will be “Breaking the Mold” to present another course for you to enhance your GI knowledge and provide the best care for your patients.
Thank you again WSGNA for providing the funds for me to attend the 2015 SGNA Baltimore Course.
