Hello Everyone,
I am excited and honored to serve as your WSGNA President again. Thank you!
It’s an exciting time to be involved in our specialty! As GI Nurses and GI Associates, we have witnessed the many changes in healthcare and our specialty. There have been numerous improvements through the research on GI best practices. These best practices have improved and advanced the quality of care we provide and how we perform our work.
Working as GI Nurses and Associates in today’s healthcare environment has become increasingly challenging, yet so rewarding! One of our goals, as your elected WSGNA board members, will be to focus on helping, encouraging, and supporting you, our members, by providing you with numerous educational opportunities. Please look though our newly created calendar of important event dates and other opportunities on our web site. We have many educational scholarships to give away…don’t be shy, apply for one! Remember to look though the calendar to see when the application deadlines are for these educational scholarships. Coming soon is a half day WSGNA Spring Conference on Saturday March 25th in Milwaukee WI. Please come & join us along with other GI professionals. Consider applying for a scholarship to attend this half day conference; the deadline to submit your application is March 1st.
